Success Stories

A bespoke site, free from monthly fees. Transforming a tired, dated website. Simplifying a complex set of websites. A site that looks great on any device. A confident first website with presence. A modernised site to match their vision.

Every website has a story.
Here are a few we’ve helped rewrite.

A club lost in a template

Their old website came from an expensive packaged system used by dozens of other clubs.

When Canvey Island Rugby Club approached us, they were stuck with a website that looked identical to countless other clubs across the country. Same layout. Same functions. Same structure. It didn’t tell their story — it just filled a space on the internet.

The problem wasn’t just aesthetics. A templated system meant they were limited in what they could change, how they could present information, and how they could showcase the personality of the club. The club paid a monthly fee for the site, which represented poor value.

We built them a full custom site from the ground up. A design shaped around their identity, their colours, their history, and their community. A site that could grow with them, not hold them back. And instead of an ongoing subscription, they paid a single, fair one‑off cost — and finally owned something that felt truly theirs.

The result is a website that doesn’t just display fixtures and scores. It reflects the pride, energy, and individuality of the club. A digital home that feels as unique as the people who play, coach, volunteer, and support every week.

A site stuck firmly in the past

Their old site wasn’t just outdated — it was actually damaging their business. Broken links, a dead contact form, and a layout that collapsed on mobile meant customers were losing trust before they even got in touch.

They came to us with a familiar problem: a website that hadn’t kept up with their business. On the surface it looked dated — stretched images, mismatched colours, and a layout built for a world before smartphones. But the real issues were hidden underneath. Their contact form didn’t send messages. Several links led nowhere. And on mobile, the site simply fell apart.

For their customers, it created doubt. If the website felt neglected, what did that say about the service behind it? And for the customers who did try to reach out, their messages disappeared into a void. The business never even knew they were being contacted.

So we rebuilt it from the ground up. A clean, modern design. A mobile‑first layout. Clear messaging. And a contact system that actually works. Some great new features and links to their social media pages. The result wasn’t just a better website — it was a better first impression. One that finally reflected the quality of the work they deliver every day.

A parish split across old websites

When two parishes became one, their online presence didn’t follow. They had several outdated websites, each with conflicting information and old event details.

Sedlescombe and Whatlington had recently joined together as a single parish, but online they still existed as separate communities. Each church had multiple old websites — some abandoned, some half‑updated, all carrying different information. Service times didn’t match. Contacts were out of date. Events from years ago were still being shown as upcoming.

For visitors, it created uncertainty. Which site was correct? Who should they contact? When were services actually happening? And for the parish, it meant lost enquiries, missed opportunities, and even empty seats on Sundays simply because people couldn’t find reliable information.

We brought everything together into one clear, modern website. A unified home for the parish, with dedicated sections for each church — their history, their character, their community. All the information was updated, simplified, and made easy to find. Events were easy to find, up to date and easy to maintain. Contacts were correct. And the parish finally had a digital presence that reflected who they had become.

The result is a website that feels calm, welcoming, and trustworthy. A single source of truth for the parish, and a place where both churches can share their stories without losing their individuality.

A website that collapsed on mobile

Their WordPress site was over a decade old. On mobile devices, images overlapped, text spilled off the screen, and visitors had to scroll sideways just to read basic information.

Corley Garden Maintenance had a website that once served them well, but time had moved on. Built more than ten years ago, it was designed for large desktop screens and had never been updated for the way people browse today. On a phone — where most of their customers were looking — the site simply didn’t work.

Images stacked on top of each other. Text ran off the edge of the page. Visitors had to scroll sideways as well as down, trying to piece together what the business actually did. It created frustration, confusion, and a sense that the business wasn’t keeping up. The business was losing potential customers.

We rebuilt the site from the ground up with a mobile‑first approach. Clean layouts, readable text, fast loading, and a structure that adapts beautifully to any screen. The result is a site that feels modern, simple, and effortless to use — especially on the devices people rely on most.

For Corley Garden Maintenance, it wasn’t just a visual upgrade. It meant customers could finally browse services, view examples of work, and get in touch without fighting the layout. A small change with a big impact.

A business with no online home

Trees & Pests had never owned a website. They were missing out on potential customers and giving their competitors an advantage.

Trees & Pests is a small, hardworking local business offering tree surgery, garden maintenance, pest control, and deer management. Their work spoke for itself, but online they didn’t exist. No website. No central place to explain what they did. No easy way for customers to get in touch or understand the range of services they offered.

For a business built on trust and reliability, the lack of an online presence made things harder than they needed to be. Potential customers had to rely on scattered listings and second‑hand recommendations. There was no single, clear online presence — and no way for the business to present itself professionally.

We created their first proper website from the ground up. Clean, simple, and easy to navigate. A place where customers could quickly understand what Trees & Pests do, explore the services they offer, and contact them without friction. No clutter. No unnecessary features. Just a clear, confident online presence that finally matched the quality of their work.

For Trees & Pests, it wasn’t just about having a website. It was about being discoverable, trustworthy, and ready for the customers who were already looking for them. A small step that made a big difference.

A website that no longer fit the business

Their previous site was built 12 years ago, back when the business offered fewer services and had different priorities. As they grew, the website stayed the same.

Over time, businesses evolve. Services expand. Priorities shift. New opportunities appear. But websites often stay exactly as they were on the day they launched. This client found themselves in that position. Their old site was technically “fine”, but it didn’t represent the business they had become.

Important services were hidden. Outdated offerings were still front and centre. The structure didn’t guide visitors to the right information. And because the site wasn’t built with their goals in mind, it wasn’t helping them reach the people they wanted to reach. This was especially important given the business's technical nature.

We rebuilt the site with their expanded portfolio of services in mind, hand‑coding everything so the structure could be shaped around what truly mattered. No templates. No generic layouts. We ensured the site contained high quality graphics and animation to give the feel of a high-tech business.

Pages were created to highlight their key services, and made it easy for visitors to understand what they offered. These pages not only fit naturally into the site, but also stand alone in search results, helping people find exactly what they’re looking for.

And to keep everything aligned as the business continues to grow, we included free minor updates for the first year, so the site never drifts out of sync again.

The result is a website that finally supports the business, not the other way around. Clear. Focused. Fit for purpose. A site that promotes what they do today — and can grow with them tomorrow.
